About Me

Hi! I’m Fadila, a newly licensed dentist trying to survive (and make sense of) life post-dental school.

I started this blog because dental school taught me a lot — but not what to do when you're suddenly expected to function like a fully-formed doctor while still Googling how to insert a cannula. Dentistry Unlocked is where I document what really happens after the degree: the blood, the breakdowns, the burnout, the bizarre cases, and the “figure it out as you go” moments.

It’s a front-row seat to the real world of dentistry — the rotations that test you, the moments that humble you, and the rare times things actually go smoothly. Whether I’m assisting in surgeries, pulling teeth, or silently panicking behind my mask, I’m writing about it here — unfiltered, honest, and with a touch of sarcasm.

If you're a dental student, a new doctor, or just nosy (no judgment), welcome. This isn’t a textbook. This is real-life dentistry — unlocked.

Welcome to the chaos.
